Cost Estimation Specialist
Workplace: Ruda Śląska, Poland
Your responsibilities
- Analysis of technical documentation
- Participation in site visits at industrial plants
- Preparing requests for quotations for subcontractors, evaluating and selecting offers
- Preparing bills of quantities, cost estimates and pricing of works
- Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers
- Updating the database of subcontractors and suppliers
Our requirements
- Higher engineering education or ongoing engineering studies
- Experience in preparing offers and estimates for construction and installation works, including cost estimates based on design documentation or site visits
- Knowledge of the construction materials market, prices and current trends
- Knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Good knowledge of cost-estimating software, e.g. NORMA
- Category B driving licence
- Communicative command of English
Nice to have
- Knowledge of procedures governed by Polish Public Procurement Law
